Hi! I'm Robin. Welcome to my new painting-a-day blog. I am a painter/sculptor, living in Oklahoma City, OK, and have been working full time as an artist, for the most part, since graduating from Skidmore College in 1987.
Since the summer of 1989, when I attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, I have been building large and small scale, steel sculpture.
Painting has always been an integral part of my work, and remains so today even though, in some circles, I am better known as a sculptor.
In the fall of 2006, a fellow painter, Christina Pickard and I embarked on a painting-a-day blog called Time to Make the Donuts to showcase our collaborative paintings. It was very successful,and we had a good time working on it. Things have gotten busy for both of us, and we haven't been able to get together to paint for awhile, so I thought that I would start a blog and ebay store for my paintings. I consider the paintings as an online sketchbook.
